Defaults by Borrowers on Enterprise Singapore-supported Loans Introduced in 2020

Ms He Ting Ru asked the Minister for Trade and Industry whether any borrowers have defaulted on Enterprise Singapore-supported loans that have been introduced in 2020 and, if so, how many cases have there been.

As of 31 December 2020, 26 loans have been reported by Participating Financial Institutions to be in default. These represent 0.1% of the over 29,000 loans supported under the new or enhanced financing schemes introduced by ESG in 2020.
