Mr Speaker, I beg to move, "That the order for the second reading of the Supplementary Supply Bill (FY 2020) be discharged and the Bill be withdrawn."
Sir, Parliament has today agreed to the resolutions of the Committee of Supply to provide the required funds, including the additional funds, necessary for the multi-Ministry programmes in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is therefore necessary to withdraw the Supplementary Supply (FY 2020) Bill introduced on 26 March 2020, for the House to consider a Revised Supplementary Supply (FY 2020) Bill. The Revised Supplementary Supply (FY 2020) Bill containing all the sums so approved in the Committee of Supply will be introduced for Parliament’s approval once the Supplementary Supply (FY 2020) Bill is withdrawn. Mr Speaker, I beg to move.
