Annual Breakdown of New Jobs Created from 2011 to 2016

Mr Leon Perera asked the Minister for Manpower (a) what is the breakdown of new jobs created each year from 2011 to 2016 amongst MNCs, SMEs, GLCs and the public service; and (b) what is the breakdown of net new jobs created each year from 2011 to 2016 amongst MNCs, SMEs, GLCs and the public service.

The net employment change of workers in SMEs1, non-SMEs2 and the Public Service3 from 2011 to 2016 is provided in Table 1 below. Data on gross job creation is not available.
