Debated in Parliament on 27 Jan 2016.
Mdm Speaker, may I seek your consent to move that the debate be now adjourned?
I give my consent.
So sorry, Madam. Just a small clarification for the Member Mr Ong. He mentioned the swimmer who got deferment from National Service. Quah Ting Wen, I believe, is a lady. I wonder whether he is referring to her brother.
Mr Ong?
Yes, the brother.
Okay. Can you proceed again, Deputy Leader, to ask for my consent?
Mdm Speaker, may I again seek your consent to move that the debate be now adjourned?
I give my consent.
Resolved,
*That the debate be now adjourned. – [Mr Desmond Lee]. *
