Debated in Parliament on 15 Oct 2025.
Dr Charlene Chen asked the Acting Minister for Transport with regard to foreign-registered vehicles (a) what are the most common types of complaints and feedback received about disamenities in recent years; and (b) what enforcement and deterrent measures are in place to address issues such as noise, illegal waiting in non-designated areas and occupation of residential parking spaces, particularly by delivery trucks and motorcycles.
The most common feedback received on disamenities caused by foreign vehicles is on illegal parking and pollutive emissions.
Members of the public who have feedback on foreign vehicles on the road are encouraged to reach out to the relevant agencies.
