HDB's Lift Upgrading Programme in Potong Pasir Estate

Mr Sitoh Yih Pin asked the Minister for National Development whether HDB’s Lift Upgrading Programme can be further extended to blocks 123 to 125,127 to 130, and block 132 in Potong Pasir estate.

These are four-storey executive maisonette blocks, with only four units per block having no direct lift access. This has pushed the estimated cost of lift upgrading beyond our budget.

HDB will continue to look for new technology solutions to overcome the current technical and cost constraints. Meanwhile, residents there who require direct lift access due to their medical conditions can approach HDB for special assistance.
