offences; and (b) breaching disciplinary guidelines under various codes of conduct.
Over the last five years from 2008 to 2012, the number of regular Police officers and National Service Police officers charged in Court each year for criminal offences averaged 17 and 23 officers respectively. As for those subject to disciplinary proceedings during the same period, they averaged 66 regular officers and 62 National Service officers annually.
