Mr Seah Kian Peng asked the Minister for Education (a) what is the proportion of students in Raffles Girls' Primary School, Methodist Girls' School, Henry Park Primary School, Anglo Chinese School (Primary), Nanyang Primary School and Tao Nan School live in HDB flats; and (b) how does this figure compare with the national average and the average in neighbourhood schools.

Around 40% of students in Raffles Girls' Primary School, Methodist Girls' Primary School, Henry Park Primary School, Anglo Chinese Primary School, Nanyang Primary School and Tao Nan School live in HDB flats. This broadly reflects the mix of residential housing in the vicinity of these schools7. Overall, about 80% of all Primary school students reside in HDB flats.
MOE does not have a definition of "neighbourhood schools".
