Balancing Competing Objectives in Proposed Western Island Planning, and Publishing Planning Principles and Criteria before Major Land Reclamation

Ms Cassandra Lee asked the Minister for National Development (a) how the Government intends to balance competing objectives including economic development, energy security, national defence, environmental conservation and long-term resilience in planning the proposed Western Island; and (b) whether the Government will publish the principles and criteria that will guide these decisions before major reclamation works commence.
