Mr Fadli Fawzi asked the Minister for National Development (a) to date, what proportion of HDB blocks in Singapore have solar panels installed under the SolarNova programme; and (b) whether this proportion will be increased in future.
As of December 2025, the Housing and Development Board (HDB) has installed solar panels on around 5,300 blocks, or about half of all HDB blocks, under the SolarNova programme and other prior efforts. HDB will continue to install solar panels for other HDB blocks subject to site suitability.
