Debated in Parliament on 14 Oct 2025.
Mr Darryl David asked the Coordinating Minister for Social Policies and Minister for Health (a) when was the last salary review of allied health professionals held; (b) what were some of the key findings and recommendations; and (c) whether the Government can provide an update on some of the follow-up actions taken since then.
The last salary review of allied health professionals (AHPs) in public healthcare institutions was implemented in July 2025. AHPs received increases of up to 7% to their monthly base salaries.
The Ministry of Health will continue monitoring the review of the remuneration packages of healthcare workers regularly to ensure market competitiveness.
