I would like to correct an error in my speech at the Second Reading of the Good Samaritan Food Donation Bill on 6 August 2024. [Please refer to "Good Samaritan Food Donation Bill", Official Report, 6 August 2024, Vol 95, Issue 138, Second Reading Bills section.]

The statistics that one in 10 households in Singapore experienced food insecurity did not come from the National Population Health Survey. It came from a report published by the Lien Centre for Social Innovation, SMU and supported by the Food Bank Singapore.

I apologise for the error, thank the Ministry of Health for alerting me to the error and thank the Speaker for this opportunity to rectify it.
