Order. On 18 January this year, at 8.35 am, I informed hon Members that I received a letter on 16 January 2024 at 11.33 pm from Mr S Iswaran resigning his seat in Parliament.
In accordance with clause (2)(c) of Article 46 of the Constitution, the seat of Mr S Iswaran as a Member of Parliament for the electoral division of West Coast became vacant with effect from 11.33 pm on 16 January 2024.
