The Ministry for Transport confirmed that the Shuttle Tebrau service will be discontinued six months after the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System Link (RTS Link) begins passenger services, per an agreement with Malaysia.
The RTS Link is designed to handle up to 10,000 passengers per hour per direction, significantly exceeding the current shuttle’s daily capacity of under 10,000 people.
