Number of Speech and Language Therapists Registered to Practise and Waiting Time to Get a First Appointment Through Public Healthcare System

Ms He Ting Ru asked the Minister for Health in each of the last five years (a) how many speech and language therapists are registered to practise in Singapore; and (b) what is the average waiting time to get a first appointment with a speech and language therapist through the public healthcare system.

The average waiting time for the first appointment with a Speech and Language Therapist in the public healthcare system for each year from 2018 to 2022 is five weeks.
