Grace Fu Hai Yien responded that these questions have been addressed in previous parliamentary responses on 22 September 2025 and directed him to refer to those answers for detailed information.

Dennis Tan Lip Fong requested an update on the cause of a sinkhole that occurred on Tanjong Katong Road on 26 July 2025 and inquired about future measures to prevent such incidents. Grace Fu Hai Yien referenced a prior response provided on 22 September 2025 that addressed similar parliamentary questions regarding the sinkhole and preventive actions taken. She advised referring to that earlier response for details on the matter.

Dennis Tan Lip Fong asked about the LTA's plans to address train congestion and increase train frequency on the North-East Line (NEL) for northeast commuters. Chua Kheng Wee Louis requested information on the current number of trains, maximum passenger capacity, and utilization during peak hours. SBS Transit is currently operating 40 trains during peak hours, with a wait time of less than two minutes, but some commuters may have to wait for additional trains. The LTA has also enhanced bus services and improved incentives to encourage commuters to adjust their travel times or modes. Future projects include the delayed Cross Island Line completion and feasibility studies for a new Seletar Line to improve connectivity.
